This year’s 34th Lithuanian Days are cancelled

Dear Lithuanian Days Festival participants and guests,

We regret to announce that the 34th annual Los Angeles Lithuanian Days celebration, scheduled for October 2020, has been officially canceled due to the COVID19 virus pandemic. The Los Angeles Chapter Board of the Lithuanian American Community, Inc. seriously considered organizing the festival. However, for the health and safety of guests and participants together with the public ban on large gatherings, there is other choice than to cancel this year’s event.

Throughout the years we have enjoyed hosting the Los Angeles Lithuanian Days, and we are incredibly grateful to all the guests and participants from around the world. We are also grateful to the performers that brought us to enjoy Lithuanian folk dances, music, songs, and other cultural vignettes. Even though we will not be able to meet this year, we look forward to seeing you in 2021 as we plan to create an even bigger and more interesting, fun event. We will dance and sing together for the love of Lithuania and its culture as we always have at Lithuanian Days.
