35th annual weekend celebration of all things #Lithuanian in Los Angeles returns!

I am ready for Lithuanian Days! Are you?

The Los Angeles Lithuanian American Community, spearheaded by then president Edmundas Kulikauskas, debuted the Lithuanian Fair in 1986 to celebrate Lithuanian pride, heritage and culture. This annual celebration is held in Los Angeles, California on the first weekend of October at the St. Casimir Lithuanian Catholic Church in the Silverlake area.

Lithuanian culture, art, entertainment, refreshments and history are on display. Each year, new Lithuanian artisans of various media are featured, including: folk arts, weavings, oils, woods, ceramics and sculptures. Lithuanian amber jewelry, fashions, books, music, stamps, coins, medals and souvenirs are available.

Lithuanian Days

Traditional Lithuanian foods, spirits and drinks are available throughout the fair. Enjoy ample servings of „kugelis”, a comfort food favored by many, Or taste the sweet flavors of „krupnikas”, a honey-based liqueur. One can dine with friends at the fair or purchase food „to go”;

Entertainment runs all day with an array of musical, singing and dancing talent from around the world. Over the years, singers and dancers of all ages from Lithuania, Germany, Canada, as well as Chicago and Cleveland and other U.S. cities have graced the festival stage to share their ethnic pride and talents. Lithuanians worldwide have attended the fair and it has become the largest festival of Lithuanian culture outside of Lithuania.

Due to a Covid-19 restrictions we could’t invite performers from Lithuania, but nonetheless this year we will have a wonderful program by performers from Chicago, Main, Cleveland, Colorado, New York, Connecticut, Seattle, and Los Angeles.

DONATIONS

This year marks the 35th anniversary of the Lithuanian Days Fair. The Lithuanian Days Fair Committee is working very hard to make this a memorable event.

As you may well know, there are many expenses associated with the Lithuanian Days Fair.  They include performers, equipment rentals, facility rentals, security, permits, insurance and many other items. We are respectfully requesting sponsors to help with the costs. Our goal is to raise $ 30,000.00.  These funds will help cover some of the expenses as well as help insure the future of the Lithuanian Days Fair.

We have established four sponsorship levels:

Bronze – up to $ 499.00

Silver – $ 500.00 – $ 999.00

Gold – $ 1,000.00 – $ 2,499.00

Diamond – $ 2,500+

The success of the Lithuanian Days Fair hinges not only on attendance, but also sponsorships. We could not make this happen without your generosity. Please consider a sponsorship level.
