Funeral announcement
Richard (Richy) Liudas Reivydas was born to Irena (d.1989) and Liudas Reivydas on March 21st, 1967.
Richy graduated James Monroe High School in 1985 and completed the Purchasing Certification Program at California State University, Northridge. Richy spent his entire career with Arc Machines, Incorporated, employed in various positions since September 1986, eventually becoming the Purchasing Manager. Richy was a very loyal and dedicated employee for 31 years.
At Arc Machines, Inc. Richy met his future wife, Jennifer, in August 1994. Richy proposed to Jennifer at their happiest place on earth, Disneyland. They were married August 26th, 2000. They were blessed with two sons, Antanas Liudas Reivydas (15) and Aleksas Steponas Reivydas (13).
Richy’s love and dedication to his family are immeasurable, but he was also passionate about scouting, all things Disney, and the Los Angeles Rams.
After a four-year battle with ALS, Richy succumbed to the disease December 18, 2019 – a date shared by his sister’s birthday and the 20th anniversary of living in their home. He was surrounded by family and friends. Their home was packed with visitors all day, talking, reminiscing, and laughing about all the great times that Richy made even more special during his life.
Richy leaves behind his loving family, wife Jennifer, sons Antanas and Aleksas, sister Ruta, father Liudas. The legacy of Richy will never be forgotten and will forever remain in our hearts.
Funeral services will be held Saturday, March 21, 2020 at St. Casimir’s Church (2718 St. George St., Los Angeles 90027) at 11:00 am, with a reception to follow in the hall. In lieu of flowers, please consider a donation to the Lithuanian Scouts Association (2808 Santa Monica Blvd., Santa Monica, CA 90404).

Since he was a small boy at Stovykla I always harassed him in a admirable way; calling him „pretty boy”, He was so cute. I will miss him dearly for all my days here on earth and looking forward to meeting up with and seeing him in heaven. My condolences to the entire family!
