The Jump has qualified to be considered for the OSCAR® shortlist in the 2022 Best Documentary Feature film category.
Thursday, Dec 2, we finish our FIRST theatrical exhibition in Los Angeles. Special guests were invited last night to meet the director Giedrė Žickytė and attend a screening at Laemmle Glendale. In the audience were legendary actresses Ruta Lee and Ann Jillian along with other famous guests.
The documentary about Simas Kudirka’s desperate leap for freedom has won numerous awards and has been invited to many film festivals. The audience was deeply emotional at the end of the screening inspiring a meaningful Q&A session moderated by Ania Trzebiatowska. Ania is festival director at Sands-International Film Festival of St. Andrews and programmer for the Sundance Film Festival, focusing on US and World documentary features.
As seen in The Jump, the message of freedom resonates with audiences around the world and is something we defend, celebrate and fight for.
Please share the news of the film far and wide as it continues the journey both to audience and, we hope, to awards!
