California Lithuanian Credit Union Named to S&P Global Market Intelligence’s 100 Best Credit Unions of 2022

CLCU was recognized as one of the Top 100 Performing Credit Unions in 2022 out of almost 1,800 qualified credit unions nationwide.

Named to the prestigious list for the second time in the last three years underscores that CLCU remains strong and stable, as we have been for over 54 years. „This accomplishment further solidifies our position as a nationally-recognized financial institution dedicated to providing continued strength and stability to all members” says Dainius Vaidila CEO.

To qualify for the ranking, credit unions earned scores based on member growth, average loans per member, net worth, delinquent loans, and return on average assets.

54th ANNUAL MEMBERSHIP  MEETING

Thank you to everyone that was able to attend our 54th Annual Meeting  April 20, 2023. Highlights from the Annual Meeting included reviewing the past year’s accomplishments and Board of Directors and Supervisory Committee elections.

Congratulations to Aleksas Baipsys and Tomas Narbutas on their reelection and election of Karis Petrulis  to the Board of Directors. Edward Budginas was reelected to the Supervisory Committee.

INTRODUCING OUR NEW BOARD MEMBER

KARIS PETRULIS

As a marketing executive for over 25 years, Mr. Petrulis brings a wide range of experience and thoughtful perspective to the board. He has served and advised clients in regulated industries including banking, financial services and public utilities.

He currently serves as managing director of the full-service marketing agency RMK Direct, in Pasadena, CA. His past experience includes Vice President at Home Savings of America and Great Western Bank. He is also an active member of the Lithuanian community in Los Angeles, serving on the St. Casimir Parish Council and the Los Angeles Lithuanian Days Fair Committee.

Karis is a graduate of Valparaiso University and holds a degree in Marketing. A native of Detroit, he is an avid golfer and runner, currently residing in Burbank, CA, raising three daughters with his wife Undine.
