Witness the many shades of Lithuanian arts with this mini-fest of colorful performances. Join these local Lithuanian artists in theater, literature, song and dance.
An excerpt from “The Last Book Smuggler” will be read by its very own author, Birutė Putrius. This will be followed by a piano composition commemorating Juozas Naujalis’ 150th Birthday, performed by Dainius Vaičekonis. The program will continue with dances by Lithuanian folk dance ensemble, Lietutis, and a theatrical performance by Vakarų Teatro Sumuštinis, of an excerpt from Žemaite’s “Marti.”
