Lietuvių bendruomenės kalėdinė programa vaikams/Lithuanian Christmas Eve Children’s Program – Portland, OR

Nuoširdžiai visus kviečiame į kasmetinį Portlando lietuvių šventinį vakarą. Vakaro programa:
15:30 – Šv. Mišios
17:00 – Vaikų programa ir Kalėdų Senelis
18:30 – Kūčių „suneštinių“ vaišių pradžia

Suneštinės vaišės:
Prašome, atsineškite pagrindinį patiekalą ir desertą. Pagal Kūčių tradicijas patiekalai turėtų būti paruošti be mėsos. Tinka žuvis, kruopos, vaisiai, daržovės. Kava ir arbata bus pateikti.
Jei pageidaujate, atsineškite savo vyną, alų.

Vaikų programa bei Kalėdų Senelis:
Po vaikų pasirodymo apsilankys Kalėdų Senelis su dovanelėmis. Prašome paruošti savo vaikučiams nedidelę dovanėlę ir ją atsinešti į renginį. Vaikučiai turėtų būti pasiruošę atlikti kokį nors trumpą pasirodymą (eilėraštis, dainelė, šokis ar pan.), kad gautų dovanėlę nuo Kalėdų Senelio.

Mamytės ir Tėveliai: Norėtume, kad visi vaikučiai gautų maždaug vienodo dydžio ir vertės dovanėles. Tad prašome, jog dovanėlė neviršytų $10 vertės ir būtų tokio dydžio, jog lengvai tilptų į rudą popierinį pietų maišelį (“brown bag”). Paruoškite po dovanėlę kiekvienam vaikučiui. Ant dovanėlės aiškiai užrašykite savo vaiko vardą. Atvykę į renginį, palikite dovanėlę(-es) ant priėmimo stalo; dovanėlės bus sudėtos į Kalėdų Senelio maišą.

Please, be invited to the traditional Lithuanian style Christmas Eve gathering. Evening Program:

5:00pm – Children‘s program and Santa
6:30pm – Christmas Eve potluck dinner begins

Community Potluck:
Please, bring a Main Dish and Dessert. Remember Christmas Eve traditions dictate no meat; fish, grains, fruit and vegetable are OK. Coffee and tea will be provided. BYO wine, beer.

Children’s Program and Santa:
Santa Claus will arrive at the end of the Children’s program to hand out the gifts to the children. Parents, please prepare and bring a small gift which Santa could hand to your child(ren). Kids should be prepared to show their talent (poem, song, dance, instrument, etc.) to receive a gift.

Parents: We want all the children to receive a gift that is more or less of similar value and size as everyone else’s. Therefore we ask that the gift does not exceed $10 in value and is no larger than something that could fit into a brown lunch bag. Write your child’s name on the bag clearly. Leave your child’s gift at the reception table to be placed in Santa’s bag.
