Lietuva „Europe in the Park“ San Fransiske!
LT
Rugsėjo 19 d. Lietuvos Respublikos generalinio konsulato Los Andžele komanda jau trečią kartą dalyvavo Europos Sąjungos biuro San Fransiske organizuotoje šventėje „Europe in the Park“, Golden Gate parke.
Šiemet Lietuvos stende lankytojus kvietėme susipažinti su Laukių ąžuolu – 2026 m. Europos medžio konkurso nugalėtoju. Ant simbolinių ąžuolo šakelių žmonės rašė savo linkėjimus ir svajones. Dažniausiai kartojosi vienas žodis – TAIKOS.
Džiaugiamės, kad šventės scenoje skambėjo ir lietuviška muzika bei šokiai – pasirodė San Francisko lietuvių šokių kolektyvas SF „Tiltas” ir choras „Ūkana“.
Dėkingi už pagalba San Francisco Lithuanian-American Community lietuvių bendruomenės pirmininkei Aušrai Shtarkai, meno kolektyvų vadovei Vanesai Kašelionytei ir visai San Francisko lietuvių bendruomenei.
Ačiū visiems, kurie užsuko, ragavo, klausė, šoko, dainavo ir dalijosi savo mintimis!

Lithuania at “Europe in the Park” in San Francisco!
On September 19, the team of the Consulate General of the Republic of Lithuania in Los Angeles took part for the third time in “Europe in the Park,” a celebration organized by the European Union in the United States Office in San Francisco in Golden Gate Park.
This year, at the Lithuanian booth, we invited visitors to learn about the Oak of Laukiai, the winner of the 2026 European Tree of the Year competition. People wrote their wishes and dreams on symbolic oak branches. One wish appeared repeatedly – PEACE.
We were also delighted to have Lithuanian music and dance featured on the festival stage, with performances by the San Francisco Lithuanian dance group “SF Tiltas” and the “Ūkana” choir.
We are grateful for the support of Aušra Shtarka, Chair of the Lithuanian Community in San Francisco, Vanesa Kašelionytė, artistic director of the performing groups, and the entire Lithuanian community in San Francisco.
Thank you to everyone who stopped by, tasted, listened, danced, sang, and shared their thoughts with us!
